Shipping Policy

Captiva Containers takes enormous pride in every product we offer and strive to deliver them in the best possible condition.

While there are many things we do to mitigate the risks of shipping plastic bottles around the country, there are unfortunately some things outside of our control like the weather and transit delays once the package is in the hands of the carrier. As such, the shipping guidelines published on this website are not guarantees of a shipping or arrival date.

Captiva is unable to guarantee time or date of delivery, as this is all subject to the local carrier. Most carriers will deliver packages anytime between 8am-8pm. If you are placing an order for a time-sensitive event, we recommend placing your order early and scheduling it to arrive 3-4 business days before your event. Please note bottles are heat sensitive and cannot be exposed to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.

Captiva is not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, pandemic safety measures, local carrier mis-scans or inaccurate/incomplete shipping information. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person and is therefore entirely outside our control.

Please note we do require a signature for the release of freight/LTL shipments. It is very important to inspect the load upon arrival and note any damages or missing products on the delivery receipt prior to signing. Most carriers will provide an exception number at that moment. Please contact us immediately after so we may submit a claim to the carrier.

Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order as well as in their order confirmation email. Captiva is not responsible for delays in transit caused by address modification.

There are no returns, exchanges, refunds or cancellations allowed on any orders that have shipped.

Claims must be reported within 30 days of receiving your order. Please be sure to check your order upon arrival and reach out to us immediately to report missing or damaged items.

All case packages are shipped via FedEx and therefore we cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.

At the moment, we ship to the continental United States only. Unfortunately, at this time we do not ship to Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico or the Virgin Islands.
